Harvest 2016 appeal

1st October 2016

We are most appreciative of the many harvest donations from local churches and schools. At the last Friday foodbank session in September we distributed over 160 kilos of food to those locally in need.

Over the last 21 days, so many local schools, churches, beavers, scouts and local groups have kindly donated a current TOTAL of over 1,900 Kilos between them, for which we are very thankful.

This week, Estcots primary school, Blackwell primary school & Baldwins Hill primary school, Forest Row Baptist Church and the 1st Lingfield & Dormansland scouts have all kindly donated food, together with major donations received at the Jubilee Centre.

Our warehouse is ALMOST FULL, so THANK YOU indeed!

In other news, a Citizens Advice adviser will now be at the Jubilee Centre from 1pm to 3pm every Monday to offer general advice to anyone visiting the centre – not just foodbank clients. This will continue each monday for 12 weeks, so please explore!

Lastly, with the colder weather approaching, we hope to be able to offer energy saving advice starting later on this month. More details on this website to follow!
