We have all heard in the news that children are going hungry in the school holidays and the use of Foodbanks is increasing. As this continues to be a worrying problem, we are again running our Lunchbags scheme in advance of the Easter holiday.
Lunchbags contain basics such as pasta & sauce, soup, baked beans, tinned meat, fruit and ‘extras’. Our local schools nominate children whose families are on a low income (often receiving free school meals) and may struggle with the cost of food during the holidays.
