As a rule our Food Bank is usually closed on Bank Holidays however, in exceptional circumstances we are able to deliver Emergency Food Boxes if we have volunteers available.
If you need help from the Food Bank the quickest way to reach us is by telephone, ideally by texting us on the Crisis Line 07856 864 251 and we will try to help.

Call our free national helpline
If you are in financial crisis and live in England or Wales, please call our free national helpline, Help through Hardship, on 0808 2082138 for free (open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, closed on public holidays) to talk confidentially with a trained Citizens Advice adviser. They can help address your crises and provide support to maximise your income, help you navigate the benefits system, and identify any additional grants you could be entitled to. If needed, they’ll issue you with a voucher so you can get an emergency food parcel from your local food bank.

CITIZENS ADVICE
If you can’t afford food, you can call 0344 477 1171 to speak to Citizens Advice East Grinstead about getting a voucher. They have advisers available from Monday to Friday, 9am – 4.30pm. It can be busy on the phones so if you have access to the internet you could also try us on email and web chat – both available at www.advicewestsussex.org.uk/contact-us/
