Messages from us to you

If you find yourself in a crisis and cannot afford food please click here to view a list of local voucher distributors.

Access is by referral only but if obtaining a voucher proves difficult please contact us for advice.

Thank you for your continued generosity in donations of food and household items.

Particular thanks go to those who continue to donate items at our regular collection points throughour the town.

We are also very greafeful to those who visited our stall at the May Fair and participated in our emergency food box challenge. Prizes were kindly donated by the Star Inn at Lingfield, the Lama Park & Tulleys Maize. We hope the winners enjoy their visits.

We would also like to acknowledge the generous donation from 5 and 3, a local Brand marketing and advertising company, who have kindly funded a new (and steerable!) large trolley in addition to food donations; we are very grateful!

We were also please to give talks about the foodbank to both the local branch of AGE UK and the Moatfield surgery. Thanks also to Moatfield for their kind food donations.

The need for emergency food does not appear to be diminishing. Nationally the Trussell Trust has reported an increase of 2% to 1.1 million people helped. Over the year to 31st March 2016, we have helped 947 people from this Foodbank, and increase of over 10% compared to the previous year.

Lastly, for those who are perhaps looking to give in additional or different ways, we now have a link to our new BT mydonate page at the top of this page. This allows both one-off and regular financial donations online, in support of our work, complimenting the generosity in food donations.

We remain very appreciative of all help offered to assist those locally in need.

Best wishes from the Foodbank team!
