Messages from us to you

If you find yourself in a crisis and cannot afford food please click here to view a list of local voucher distributors.

Access is by referral only but if obtaining a voucher proves difficult please contact us for advice.

Thank you for your continued generosity in donations of food and household items.

Particular thanks go to those who continue to donate items at our regular collection points throughour the town.

Thank you also to customer of Sainsbury's, who kindly donated 512.5 Kilos at our collection day on saturday, 2nd July. In addition, we now have a permanent collection point in the store. Please can donations be made, from items purchased in the store, into the orange collection box, adjacent to the self-scanning exit point. We are very appreciative of the donations being made by the customers of Sainsbury's East Grinstead, which will really help our work.

The need for emergency food does not appear to be diminishing. Nationally the Trussell Trust has reported an increase of 2% to 1.1 million people helped. Over the year to 31st March 2016, we have helped 947 people from this Foodbank, and increase of over 10% compared to the previous year.

Lastly, for those who are perhaps looking to give in additional or different ways, we now have a link to our new BT mydonate page at the top of this page. This allows both one-off and regular financial donations online, in support of our work, complimenting the generosity in food donations.

We remain very appreciative of all help offered to assist those locally in need.

Best wishes from the Foodbank team!
