The Trustees of the East Grinstead Foodbank were delighted with the turnout at the recent AGM, with over 40 volunteers able to join a ‘tea and cake’ celebration prior to the annual general meeting itself under the chairmanship of Andrew Smith.
The growing demand for foodbank services can only be satisfied thanks to the many foodbank volunteers and the continued generosity of the local community, Already over 2,000 kilos of harvest donations have been received into the foodbank warehouse and into the temporary, auxiliary storage kindly offered by Martells. Tremendous work has been done to manage this by the Warehouse team under James.
