Your help is needed

26th June 2026

The East Grinstead Foodbank is facing a £5,000 drop in donations, your community support is urgently needed. To help bridge the gap, can you help donate at local supermarket drop-off points, or make a direct financial contribution to keep their shelves stocked.

How You Can Help
  • In-Store Drop-Offs: Leave non-perishable food donations at the collection points located at Sainsbury’s (Brooklands Way), Waitrose (West Street), or Lidl
  • Financial Contributions: Monetary donations go directly toward operational costs and purchasing essential items to supplement food parcel gaps. You can securely transfer funds using the details on the East Grinstead Foodbank Donate Money page
  • Online Purchases: You can purchase and donate pre-selected bundles of urgent items through the Give Today Online Store, which delivers directly to the foodbank
  • Track Urgent Needs: Download the free Bank the Food App to view real-time updates on what the foodbank’s warehouse needs most while you are doing your weekly shopping
Where to Donate Locally
If you prefer to drop off items directly, you can take them to the main warehouse:
Jubilee Community Centre
Charlwoods Road, East Grinstead
RH19 2HL
Opening Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (1:00 PM to 3:00 PM)
Would you like to find out about what specific food items are most urgently required right now, or are you looking for details on how to set up a regular monthly donation? Look on our Bank the Food App.
