The East Grinstead foodbank team would like to extend thanks to all the visitors to our Foodbank stall at the Christmas Family Festival on Queens’ Walk December 4th.
After a chilly set-up on Sunday morning, we had a great time at the event. At our stall, we hosted a competition – a surprisingly tricky ‘Guess the contents of the unlabelled tins,’ and we were happy that Emma and her family managed to name all three tins correctly to win a Christmas hamper! Thanks to our competition and donations from visitors to the stall, we were delighted to be able to raise £138.
We are always grateful for opportunities to get to know the East Grinstead community, and spread the word about our food bank to both potential supporters and people in crisis.
