Foodbanks are more often mentioned in the media these days, typically associated with comments about growth in usage. In areas as diverse as Wandsworth, Islington, Coventry and Newcastle, usage is growing and this effect can be seen, not just in large urban communities, but also in more rural districts such as ours.
We support the East Grinstead area and surrounding villages and the number of referrals is growing considerably, particularly those families with children.
